From a Banker Becomes a Coach
Being
a banker for about 16 years was a valuable and unforgettable experience. You
know, many things I did and learned there. As a banker, I got many
facilities. Not just healthy insurance but also other allowances such as car,
house, outing together, free trainings and also career. But, I had to sacrifice
the most valuable thing in my life. It was my family time. I had to go to the
office early in the morning and back home at night. More than twelve hours each
day, I was outside my home. It was hard for me and not in accordance with my
passion.
As
kids grow up, I realize that I should spare more time with them. Teenagers need
their parents especially their mom. They need good friend to share with and to
trust on. You will never let your kid choose another to replace yours,
right? So, that is the point.
Before
resigned, I came to my coach. I shared my problem with him and he guided me to
find my passion calling. I want to be like him. Meet people and make them find
the best solution for her/his life. A coach is forbidden to give solution.
He/She just guides the coachee to find the best solution from himself or
herself.
Can you imagine how it is totally different job for me? Many years I always did
my work with figures, amounts and assets of others, with daily and monthly
reports. But now I have to meet people, discuss a problem, guides him/her and
at last I will see the happier smile appears from his/her face. I really like
and enjoy it. I have many new friends now and I learn that so many problems are
there outside of my life. A new job with new challenges. I love it!
